Following the terrible violence at VIRGINIA TECH, Blacksburg, Virginia, the Virginia Legislature has the task of trying to improve laws and policy to better protect our population. This is truely an unenvyable task, because there are no perfect solutions. The losses that families have endured are horrific. However we shall hope that these legislators are able to assemble the wisdom to act, but not over react.
For those that believe that SATANIC FORCES are manifested through "human nature", when allowed to, We sincerely hope that THE DEVIL WILL NOT BE IN THE DETAILS of whatever legal and procedural changes evolve from the present Virginia General Assembly Session. Placing additional pressures on our Constitutional Rights is most certainly a SATANIC FORCE!
I for one shall concetrate all positive thought on the GOODNESS OF THIS GREAT AND HISTORIC BODY to exercise the appropriate and most effective and efficient actions, during this time of significant anguish within our great State (Commonwealth of Virginia) and Country (United States of America).
UPDATE-September, 2008:
I am pleased to report that the Virginia General Assembly acted an a very responsible manner, regarding the tragedy at Virginia Tech University. In my opinion, this great body of law makers exercised precisely the appropriate measures to aid in the healing processes that lead to compassionate recovery.

STEPPING FORWARD
Almost immediatly following the beginning of this mellenium, I experienced a serious Brain Trauma Injury. After surgery I was significantly paralyzed on the right side, my speech was slow, and short term memory impaired.
I am writing to tell anyone and everyone who needs to know, that recovery is hard work, but with "extreme concentration" everyone can be and do better each and everyday. In my adversity there was opportunity.
I had to relearn how to read, write, walk, and think. Although I had retained my "historic memory" the relearning process gave me the opportunity to choose how I wanted my intellect to function, for the future. I chose to be more compassionate, considerate, outgoing, and happy. This experience has allowed me to better understand, what I call "the mysteries of life".
I am convinced that things happen, at least sometimes, exactly when it is needed. The fact that I am able to "stumble" onto this Blog Site, and offer to converse with anyone in this world that could use some encouragement, is a testament to the type of possitive opportunities that jump out to us.
IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW HAS EXPERIENCED HEAD INJURY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SUBDURAL HEMATOMA, STROKE, MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, ETC. I WOULD LIKE TO HELP.
Although I was not injured in combat, I am a U. S.combat veteran of the Vietnam war, so if there are folks in the Veterans Administration System, that would like to talk, I'm here.

We are a small family business, licensed in Virginia, USA, for over 20 years. We are currently looking for specific items from estates and/or private collections. If you are interested in trading items such as guns, knives, and swords. We have collectibles and antiques, such as hand tools, kitchenware, cross country skis, many books, lightning canning jars (also old mason and ball), fishing reels and poles, and furniture. I'm currently the oldest male in our immediate families, and I always said that once I retired, I was going to "process the storage areas".
As I stated in an earlier Blog, I am intent on helping others in all ways that an opportunity is presented. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF THIS CONCEPT.
